Will I have to pay unexpected customs or import fees?
No, absolutely not. The total amount you see at checkout is 100% final. We handle all import documentation, customs clearance, and local duties. You will never pay a single cent to the courier driver.
Can I track my parcel?
Yes! As soon as your order clears customs and enters the local courier network, you will receive an automated SMS and email containing your tracking number and a direct tracking link.

Yes. Our entry-level Grid-Safe model features an automatic Dual-Power backup system. It plugs into your standard wall socket, but the instant the electricity cuts, it seamlessly switches to internal battery power (4 x D-cell batteries) in less than a millisecond.
What happens if our home Wi-Fi goes offline during a power cut?
Your pets are safe! Our feeders feature an internal Local Memory Storage chip. Once you program your pet’s feeding schedule into the app, those times are written directly onto the physical device. Even if your home Wi-Fi drops completely for days, the built-in clock ensures kibble drops exactly on time.
Does the camera on the HD Video model stay on during load-shedding?
To protect the backup batteries and keep your schedule active for weeks, the power-heavy 1080p camera and Wi-Fi chip will go into deep sleep when the main power drops. The moment the grid comes back online, the feeder automatically reconnects to your Wi-Fi and restarts the live camera view.
🐈 App & Pet Compatibility Questions Will the Multi-Pet Microchip Feeder work with my pet’s existing chip?
Yes. The RFID scanner ring reads all standard international 15-digit veterinary microchips (FDX-B standard) used by South African vets. If your pet isn't microchipped yet, the device comes with a lightweight RFID collar tag that achieves the exact same result.
What size kibble can these automatic feeders handle?
The internal anti-clog silicone rotors smoothly handle any standard dry cat or dog food kibble ranging from 2mm to 12mm in diameter. We do not recommend using wet food or freeze-dried raw foods in the standard automated dispensers.
Which app do I need to download to control the feeder?
Our connected smart feeders seamlessly sync to the universally trusted Smart Life or Tuya Smart apps available for free on both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
